The Roundhouse
The Round House was built in 1827, originally as a parish prison. It is situated in a conservation area on the corner of Church Street and Beveridge Street and is now a Grade II listed building. Extensive repairs have been carried out and is now available to hire as a museum/exhibition centre.
Please contact the Parish Office for further information.

The War Memorial
In 1920 the Parish Council decided to erect a memorial to the dead of the First World War. Paid for by public subscription, it was dedicated in May 1921 by Col R E Martin of the Leicestershire Regiment. It was subsequently also dedicated to the dead of the Second World War.
On Remembrance Sunday every year a Service of Remembrance is held where wreaths are laid by local War Veterans, local groups and the uniformed groups. The children from the village place crosses in front of the Memorial.
